My 90 yr old grandmother has CHF.. today at thanksgiving dinner she was very pale, tired and short of breath. We took her O2 sat and it was only 81% but she refused to go to the hospital. She is on 2L of oxygen at all times. She says her O2 is always that low but I have a hard time believing that her doctor is ok with this. Please help!

Is it possible for you to talk to her doctor to find out what's really going on? I understand that she may be afraid to find out what's really going on. On the other hand, does she really want to live this way for the rest of her life?
