I would never push anyone to donate especially teenagers and I'm not sure about bone marrow, but I am a donor of all my body organ, skin, eyes, everything. Because the way I see it is if my family and I were in a car crash and my kids are hurt I am there closest match so by all means save my kids, I donate blood as well but this is the first I have looked up bone marrow

Once people are "informed correctly" and still want to do this...I think it is a wonderful gift of love...but, they need to tell the "whole truth" when they are convincing people to do it is truly an informed choice.
